- We were proud to have entered the 3rd edition of ProPro in June 2019. ProPro went international! Thanks to the support of our partners from several European institutions, we managed to assemble an international group of producers with 20 participants from 9 countries.
The supporting institutions enabled producers from their countries to attend ProPro: FOCAL Switzerland, Norwegian Film Institute NFI:LAB, Slovenian Film Centre, Film Fund Luxembourg,SATEL Film, IDM Südtirol Alto Adige,Film Center Serbia, IMCINE – Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía.
ProPro2019 is proud to be the first gender-initiative to receive the Eurimages Patronage.
We were happy to work again with high class experts and mentors from all over Europe:
Linda Beath (Ideal Filmworks, IT/CAN), Gabriela Bacher(Summerstorm Entertainment, DE/US) who were with us for the 3rd time.
Marianne Furevold(NRK-Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NO) and Paula Vaccaro(Pinball London, UK) who acquired a taste of ProPro at last year´s Summer Event in June and came back to stay.
We were thrilled to welcome more inspiring women for the first time to ProPro: Géraldine Bajard (Director, Author & Script Consultant FR/CH), Marta Donzelli (Vivo Film, IT), Isabel Ivars(Sales Agent, DE),Ankica Jurić-Tilić(Kinorama, HR), Wendy Mitchell (Screen International, UK), Wiktoria Pelzer(Stadtkino Filmverleih, AT), Julia Pühringer (Journalist, AT), Tereza Šimíková(CPH:DOX Forum, CZ/DK), Marit van den Elshout(CineMart, NL), Susanna Wieseneder (Business & Personal Coach, AT).
Many events are open to the public, so more industry protagonists can benefit.
Panel-talks, lectures and networking events provide new know-how, create insights and spark discussion. They deal with various aspects of production, with a focus on new ways of collaboration and strategies on how to enter markets and reach audiences.
We wish the visitors, and especially the twenty participants, a productive week full of enriching input, useful contacts, inspiration, and brave new ideas.
The programme is meant to support, empower and inspire!
