After graduating from University Julia gains insight into the workings of NGOs, working on a EU project aimed at improving addiction prevention and treatment. Later on, her passion for travel and foreign cultures lead to several years abroad. During extensive periods in Latin America she improves her Spanish skills, drafts and completes her first novel and falls in love with countries and its peoples.
Back in Austria, Julia obtains a degree in methodology and didactics from Goethe Institut and works as a language trainer for adults. In order not to get bored, she takes on rather diverse jobs, ranging from a Berlitz teaching position aboard a cruise ship all the way to supporting the organisation of ProPro 2017 & 2019.
