Born in 1978 in Linz, studied English and German language and literature, wrote her thesis on Film noir. Ended up in journalism with a focus on film journalism, writes for the tv magazine “Tele” and is freelancing for “Falter”, “schau Magazin”, “Kleine Zeitung” and other outlets. She loves to think, write and talk about movies, as well as doing interviews and q&as with their protagonists and directors. She is curious about cinema, the film canon, about how we write about film, how it is an image of the world as we see it (and want to see it). Obviously that makes her very interested in the representation of women in this industry and its films. She is also loves to hold inflammatory speeches on and off the internet.
