Since late 2017 Wiktoria Pelzer is responsible for programming and directing the Stadtkino im Künstlerhaus, Viennas city-cinema for Arthouse and Auteur film, and is also co-responsible for the distribution Stadtkino Filmverleih. One of the main interests is working on new strategies for Audience Development for cinema, including special events, as well as targeting specific audiences for films, and new marketing strategies for theatrical film releases. She was the program coordinator for the Crossing Europe Filmfestival in Linz for seven years, and she still curates a special program at the festival. In Vienna she also co-curates the Animation Avantgarde programmes at VIS Vienna Shorts Festival, which focusses on Animation and Experimental film. Wiktoria lives and works in Vienna.
